Overseas Tours

Students at Santa Sabina have the opportunity to explore new cultures, gain invaluable educational experiences and compete on international stages. Our program of enriching study tours and dynamic sporting engagements abroad enhances our students’ academic and athletic skills while also fostering personal growth and global awareness.

Recent tours have included:
Music in Italy:

Choir and orchestra performances and workshops with leading Italian musicians in Rome, Florence and Venice.

Language in Italy:

Italian culture, language and classroom immersion in Siena, Venice, Ariccia and Rome.

Sports in New Zealand:

Playing Football and Netball against schools as well as training with Olympians and rafting in Rotorua, New Zealand.

Service in Vietnam:

Immersion trip to Vietnam, helping the regional community of Vinh Long to construct solar street lights and plant rice while also experiencing the culture and history of Vietnam.

Interstate tours are also organised every year to enrich the Geography and other curriculum areas, alongside Adventurous Journeys as part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.

Exciting tours overseas and interstate are currently being developed to take place in 2026 and beyond.

Immersions

Our senior students participate in service immersion trips as a way of following in the footsteps of our patron saint, St Dominic. The current program includes making meaningful impact on communities in remote Indigenous Australian communities as well as helping to construct solar street lights and participating in rice planting in regional communities in Vietnam.

These trips always include exploration of the culture and history of the destinations.
