Belonging, Identity and Connection from Prep to Year 12
Every student and staff member belongs to one of six Houses, the heart of our pastoral, wellbeing and academic care structure. This system ensures every student feels known, supported and connected throughout their school journey.
Each House recognises the First Peoples of Australia, honouring the enduring relationship Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples have with Country. Our House names reflect elements of the natural world – sky, water, flora, earth, fauna and fire – and symbolise our shared responsibility to care for creation and one another.
From the moment students join the College, their House becomes their school family, a place of belonging, spirit and leadership. Students participate in House activities, events, service initiatives and collaborative opportunities that build strong relationships across Year groups and foster a vibrant, inclusive community. Our House structure provides leadership experiences and service opportunities.
The Six Houses
May the blue of Gunagulla help us to imagine, to dream, and to expand our horizons. Let us look beyond ourselves and remember the vastness of possibility when we look up.
May the aqua of Kurrawa cleanse and renew us. Like water, may we bring healing and joy to others through how we live and love.
May the purple of Mundawora remind us to notice the beauty in creation, in each other and in our community. Let us see with wonder and gratitude.
May the orange of Teangi keep us grounded in our faith and service. Let our dreams be bold, but firmly planted in care and responsibility.
May the green of Weelya remind us of our duty to protect the land and its creatures. Let us live sustainably and tread lightly, with compassion.
May the red of Yetinga ignite our passion to be involved, to lead and to make a difference. Like Catherine of Siena, may we be people of fire, giving light and warmth to others.
