After an extensive national search, the Board of Santa Sabina College is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Elizabeth Brooks as our next Principal, commencing at the end of Term 2, 2026.
Elizabeth is a highly respected leader in Catholic education with a deep commitment to the Dominican tradition and a long-standing connection to the College. She served here from 1992 to 2015 in a number of teaching and leadership roles, including Head of Students. She is currently Deputy Principal at St Vincent’s College, Potts Point, a role she has held since 2016 with responsibility across faith formation, learning, wellbeing, operations and governance.
Elizabeth brings exceptional experience in integrating wellbeing, faith and learning; strengthening academic culture; championing pedagogical innovation; and leading strategic planning, including involvement in major building and development initiatives. She also contributes to national and international dialogue on girls’ education through her work with the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools.
Her appointment is, in many ways, a return home, grounded in more than two decades of service to Santa Sabina and shaped by her experience as both educator and parent within our community.
